Last night, I was watching Hannity and Colmes. They were debating on illegal immigration, and Colmes kept saying we need to figure out what to do with all the illegals in our country now. He said that all republicans talk about is securing the border, while what to do with the illegals in our country now has become a 'third wheel of politics.' And, you know, I just kind of laughed. It isn't a 'third rail', it's just that if we don't secure our borders, more illegals are going to flood in and we're going to have to talk about what to do with them. Ok, lets try to make this simple. You have a bunch of flys in your house because your door is open. First, you close the door so no more flys come in, then you deal with the flys that are in your house. Man, this topic is so simple that i can't even think of a good analogy.
Just a side note here: has anyone else noticed that while all the democrats are apologizing for voting for the war, Hillary is the only one that refuses to apologize. I think she even said that we are actually safer now than we were before the war. Heres a link to that story: http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/04/21/iraq.hillary/

Welcome
Welcome to my blog everyone! Hopefully, I can use this blog to get teenagers like me involved and interested in politics. Since this is my first post, I'll hold off the politics until tomorrow. If you happen to be a kid that is interested in politics, please comment and give me a link to your blog. It seems that kids my age aren't interested in politics, and that's too bad. Sometimes it might seem like kids can't make any difference. But that just isn't true. If we sit around not doing anything though, obviously nothing is gonna happen. We need to get the facts out there. Tell your parents, send a letter to your congressman, make a blog, or just read this one. Politics can even be interesting and funny. So continue reading and check back every once in a while for a new post.
